University of South Carolina All-Female A Cappella
Alcoholic? No. Intoxicating? Very.
The Cocktails, the University of South Carolina’s first & only all-female a cappella group, was formed in 2002 & has been on the rise ever since. These vocal vixens love spending time together on & off stage, whether it is hosting taco nights, planning weekend retreats in Athens, GA, or recording new music for you guys, they are always having a ball. They placed 3rd at the 2010 ICCA Quarterfinals & 1st at the 2011 & 2016 ICCA Quarterfinals, receiving the award for Outstanding Choreography in 2011 & 2016. They also were honored to perform for former President Barack and Michelle Obama at the White House in 2016 & release a new album, "Old Fashioned", in 2017. As they wrap up this semester, they plan to release their latest single & music video in April. The Cocktails’ number one goal is for their audience to have as much fun listening to them as they have performing. The Cocktails strive to be more than just a group of girls who love to sing; they truly treat each other like sisters & have a bond that lasts even after graduation.
